Wave Island Declaration of Independence

We the people of Wave Island want to break away from the United States because we as a country think that it is our duty to help this planet. Our leaders believe that we can function as a country on Wave Island. The current leader of the United States is not making us happy. We want to lead our own country and live on our island. It is our duty to make peace and to stop wars, not start them.

We will function on our own and we will be partners with the United States. We will be allies with the United States and will not harm it. We have been totally cooperative with you in your country. We strive for a better tomorrow. Our island is one of the most energy efficient there is we will we try to be a green island.  

All the people of our island must be compliant with our rules. We live by our motto which is “life, family, surf, and a better tomorrow. We will produce a better tomorrow even in good and the bad times.
